Based on the principle of“Thermal balance”and integrated with practical experience,the circulating lubricating oil used in the reduction gears for cold rolling mill of six rollers reversible type was calculated. The method was proved in practice of its simplicity and reliability,and the used amount by calculation of thin circulating lubricating oil can meet the requirement for lubrication and cooling of reduction gears.
