斜拉索的有效减振技术,对斜拉桥的安全运营至关重要,开展了基于电磁阻尼器的拉索减振新技术研究。首先测试一种旋转式电磁阻尼器的电、力学性能,然后建立了电磁阻尼器-模型斜拉索减振试验平台,研究了阻尼器的安装高度及直线-旋转运动传动比对拉索减振效果的影响。试验结果表明,电磁阻尼器对试验拉索的前五阶面内振动模态均可以取得较好的控制效果,而且安装位置越高、传动比越大,控制效果越好。分析表明,优越的减振效果主要归功于电磁阻尼器减振系统兼具的黏滞阻尼与负刚度现象。

Effective vibration control technology for stay cables is extremely critical to safe operations of cable-stayed bridges.Here,a new vibration control technology based on an electromagnetic damper for stay cables was presented.Firstly,both mechanical and electrical performance of a rotary electromagnetic damper was measured.On this basis,a test platform consisting of an electromagnetic damper and a model of cable was established to evaluate the vibration control performance of the system,the effects of different damper locations and transmission ratios between linear and rotation motions on the vibration reduction performance of the cable-damper system were investigated.The test results showed that the proposed vibration control system can greatly improve each modal damping ratio of first five modes of the cable;the control performance of the system is proportional to the installation height of the damper and transmission ratios;the excellent vibration control performance of the cable-damper system is mainly due to two reasons,one is that the electromagnetic damper can work as a linear viscous damper,and the other is it can realize negative stiffness control.
