This paper elaborates on deposit geological characteristics, metallogenic conditions and ore-forming rules of Guojiatun Pb-Zn deposit. Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu are determined to be element association anomaly clues for prospecting by tectonic geochemical method based on geological anomaly information about prospecting for hidden ore (such as infor-mation of wall rock alteration, ore-controlling and lithological contact zone) and distribution of surficial tectonic geo-chemical halo and multivariate statistical analysis. At the deep part and the edges ofⅦ-1,Ⅶ-3 andⅦ-4 orebodies, magnetotelluric sounding is carried out. The distribution of ore-controlling faults and favorable positions for prospecting were delineated according to resistivity anomaly. Seven ore-prospecting targets were delineated according to the com-prehensive analysis of geological abnormal information, tectonic geochemical information and magnetotelluric sounding information.
