氧化铝工业中产生的赤泥不仅量大而且污染环境,为探讨赤泥的资源化途径,文中以拜耳法生产氧化铝产生的赤泥为原料,通过焙烧的方法将其改性,并应用于含铬废水中Cr(Ⅵ)的吸附,探索赤泥的改性温度、粒径、投加量、反应时间和废水pH对改性赤泥吸附Cr (Ⅵ)的影响及其吸附机理。实验结果表明,焙烧温度为800℃时改性赤泥对Cr(Ⅵ)有较好的吸附效果;当800℃改性赤泥投加量为100 g/L,反应180 min,pH=9时对Cr(Ⅵ)去除率达到97.63%。通过XRD和FTIR分析表明:改性赤泥去除Cr(Ⅵ)的机理以静电吸附为主。

Red mud ( RM) produced by Alumina industry not only has a large quantity but also pol-lutes the environment .In order to explore the reusing of RM by the Bayer process , it was modified by calcination process and then used for removal of hexavalent chromium from the industrial effluent . The influence of calcinating temperature , particle size , adsorbent dose , contact time and pH on the adsorption and related mechanism were studiedd .The results indicated that RM calcinated at 800℃had a good adsorption of Cr (Ⅵ) .When the modified red mud dose in 100 g/L, contact time in 180 min and pH at 9 , the removal of Cr (Ⅵ) was 97.63%.By the XRD and FT-IR analysis , it was conclude that hexavalent chromium adsorption by modified red mud mainly depended on electrostatic forces.
