This paper introduces the production technique of normal pressure, cationic dyeable trilobal PET top. It is prepared by using ECDP polyester chips, and a special trilobal spinneret with tip radius ratio of 5:1. Under non-normal drying process conditions, with spinning temperature and speed properly lowered, with rational direct slivering process conditions, normal pressure, cationic dyeable trilobal PET top can be produced with the 60%degree of profile.
