The paper describes the process flow and equipment arrangement at the crushing station, with emphasis on the introduction of material separation technology through the reversible movable belt feeder considering the situation that the conveying capacity of the belt conveyor is limited by the capacity of the bauxite crusher requiring separation and combi-nation of materials.Through research on arrangement features of silo structure and consideration of strong stickiness of mate-rials, a new idea that the best silo structure is straight on one side and slant on the other is put forward from the angle of mechanics of granular media, hence to realize economical and safe structure, reliable and smooth operation of the process system.
