By analyzing key factors affecting quality stability of heavy forgings and comparing manufacturing base and technology base of nuclear power equipments in China and France , applicability of RCC-M M140 qualification for manufacturing of nuclear power heavy forgings in China has been discussed .As Chinese characteristic nuclear power standards will be build up , this paper gives the advice of reasonable regulations for the qualification that the standards should consider Chinese own industrial base and technology base .
