Recently,there has been an increasingly popular trend of constructing Intelligent Archives in China. Howev-er,the concept of Intelligent Archives is easy to be confused with that of“Digital Archives”. This paper summarizes the core values of both Intelligent Archives and Digital Archives. Based on the introduction of the common points as well as the differences between both,this paper raises a developing strategy of integrated advancement of these two types of archives.
