密切联系群众，做好群众工作是我们党的优良作风。邓小平在中央苏区担任一年多的县委书记工作期间，形成了颇具特色的的群众工作方法：要发展经济提高群众生活水平、要体恤民情解决群众最现实的利益问题、要培育干部强化干部的群众工作意识、要率先垂范树立良好的工作作风，这些群众工作方法为当今县级领导干部如何密切联系群众，做好群众工作提供历史借鉴。

It is our Party's good style to maintain close ties with the masses and do mass work well .When DENG Xiaoping worked as a Secretary of the County Party Committee in the Central Soviet Area ,he developed a kind of mass work method with special characteristics :develop the economy to improve the living standard of the masses ,observe the people's condition to help people solve the realistic problem about their own interest ,cultivate the cadres to strengthen cadre's consciousness of mas-ses work ,set examples to establish good work style .Those methods of mass work can provide historical reference for the coun-ty leaders in maintaining close contact with the masses and doing well in the mass work .
