The main design steps of the super high-rise office building in the Pearl River Sun City are introduced. The seismic performance based objec-tives of are set in accordance with the project characteristics and transfinite situation. The elastoplastic time procedure of the structure under rare earth-quake is analyzed with MIDAS BUILDING. As shown in the results that the structural system is reasonable, safe and reliable and the structure can meet the performance objectives predetermined.
