This paper points out some problems of existing methods of transforming vague sets into fuzzy sets, and gives out some constraint criterions which are satisfied by the method of transforming vague sets into fuzzy sets, and puts forward a new method of transforming vague sets into fuzzy sets, shows that this method is more reasonable than other existing methods by some instances.
