陕西石泉安沟钛磁铁矿位于杨子地台与秦岭地槽两大构造单元接攘部位、杨子准地台北部汉南隆起东北缘。矿体产于中粒含铁异剥辉长岩、辉长岩中。矿石自然类型为浸染状钛磁铁矿，矿石工业类型为需选弱钛磁铁矿石，矿床成因类型为岩浆晚期分异型。
협서석천안구태자철광위우양자지태여진령지조량대구조단원접양부위、양자준지태북부한남륭기동북연。광체산우중립함철이박휘장암、휘장암중。광석자연류형위침염상태자철광，광석공업류형위수선약태자철광석，광상성인류형위암장만기분이형。
