This paper reviews the definition, technical parameters, structure form, solid insulation technology of solid insulated switchgear based on the development status of solid insulated switchgear. The status of disconnecting switch and earthing switch of the solid insulation is discussed, the advantages and disadvantages of solid insulated switchgear are summarized, and the prospect of the solid insulated switchgear is presented.
