《现代通信原理》是电子科学、电子信息与通信领域的核心专业基础课程之一,在各高校相关专业本科教育中占据着重要地位。对该课程而言,传统的教学方法多侧重于课本理论知识和基本原理的讲解,教师在整个过程中充当主角,教学方法较为单一,在教学理念、教学手段、教学内容选择、知识编排与呈现方式、教学教具的应用、师生互动等方面缺乏改进、创新和思考。随着电信行业的迅速发展和通信技术的日益尖端,延续传统的教学方法或者继续采用与其他传统课程较为相似的教学模式开展《现代通信原理》课程的教学工作,已经不能让学生很好地适应该行业的发展需求。为了能让学生更容易学习和掌握该门课程,提高实践能力、应用能力和创新能力,达到学以致用的目的,教学改革势在必行。

"Modern communication principle" course is a core professional foundation of electronic science, electronic information and communication engineering, which occupies an important position in the education of bachelor in various universities. The traditional teaching method of this course is more focus on the explanations of theory knowledge and basic principle of the communication technology in the textbook and teachers act as a leading role in the process. During the relatively single teaching, the teaching is carried out with little novel teaching ideas and presentations and no effective teaching aid is used. As a result, the interaction between teachers and students is lacking and the innovative thinking is limited. With the rapid development of telecom industry and communication, traditional teaching method of "modern communication principle" course is no longer applicable. In order to help our students to learn communication technology more easy and improve their practical ability in communication applications, an innovative teaching reform is imperative.
