静止同步补偿器(static synchronous compensator, STATCOM)具有对无功功率进行独立快速控制和提高电压稳定性的特点。将 STATCOM 接入双馈入直流系统某一逆变站交流母线,建立含STATCOM的双馈入直流系统模型,静止同步补偿器(static synchronous compensator, STATCOM)具有对无功功率进行独立快速控制和提高电压稳定性的特点。将 STATCOM 接入双馈入直流系统某一逆变站交流母线,建立含STATCOM的双馈入直流系统模型,推导了整个系统稳态功率传输的数学模型。通过理论分析和PSCAD/EMTDC 仿真,详细研究短路比、直流落点间的电气距离等因素对双馈入直流系统运行指标的影响。并提出利用最大传输有功功率增加量来分析 STATCOM 对不同短路比时最大传输有功功率的影响。研究表明:STATCOM的接入可以等效的增大直流子系统所馈入交流系统的强度,增大直流子系统的稳定运行区域,改善其换相失败免疫能力,抑制暂态过电压,从而有效改善双馈入直流系统的稳态和暂态运行特性。

Static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) can control the reactive power independently and improve the voltage stability of power system. The STATCOM was implemented at the inverter side AC busbar of double-infeed HVDC system. The model of double-infeed HVDC system included STATCOM was developed, then the derivation of mathematical model for the steady-state power transmission equations were deduced. By theoretical analysis and simulation in PSCAD/EMTDC, a few factors, included short-circuit ratio (SCR)、electric distance between two HVDC links, were considered to study the system performance. Increase in maximum available power (IMAP) was proposed to analyze the impact of STATCOM on the MAP when the SCR was different. The results show that STATCOM can equivalently increase strength of AC system fed by the DC subsystem, thus increase the stable operation area, improve commutation failure immunity and restrain the transient overvoltage of the DC subsystem, then effectively improve the steady and transient state operation performances of double-infeed HVDC system.
