This article describes the components and working principle of a certain type of marine diesel engine electronically con-trolled common rail fuel system and establishes the model of the common-rail fuel system with AMESim, simulates and analysis how fu-el injection duration works on the accumulator cavity pressure fluctuations and how the interval between pre-spray and main-spray works on injection characteristics.
