为了寻找发展林下经济的途径，笔者对河北临漳县的林下散养鸡进行了研究。试验结果表明，林下散养鸡林地的土壤容重降低，孔隙度、水分增加，氮磷钾有机质等营养成分增加；散养鸡试验林地林木的树高、胸径明显大于对照林地；林下养鸡的经济效益较好，优于传统家庭笼养；林下散养鸡生产系统的环境负载率和可持续发展能力方面均优于笼养鸡。林下散养鸡模式具有良好的经济效益和生态效益，是我国退耕还林后，林地充分利用的良好模式，值得推广。

Paths to develop the Under-Forest-Economy ,were studied by raising chicken un-der forest in Linzhang County in Hebei Province .T he results reveal that raising chicken un-der forest reduced the soil bulk density but increased porosity and water ,with an increase in the N ,P and K organic matters of soil .Besides ,the trees in the soil with chicken raised are gow ning higher and bigger in the diameter breast height than those in the soil of control group .The economic benefit of raising chicken under forest is much better than that of the traditional family cage rearing .However ,as indicated by ELR and ESI ,the under forest rea-ring system produces lower ecosystem stress and pressure on environment and correspond-ingly has more sustainable captivity than the cage rearing system in Scatter-Feed model is suited to Chinese conditions ,w hich can make full use of the forest returned from farmland , with better economic and ecological benefit and therefore ,this model is worthy of extension and application .
