    The current knowledge of biochemical ,molecular and behavioral mechanisms on insect resistance to Bt(Bacillus thuringiensis) toxin was reviewed ,two research methods of insect resistance to Bt including the screening of insect resistant populations and the molecu-lar markers were introduced ,and problems unsolved as well as various approaches to solve them were presented .
