The research on the fabrication of super-hydrophobic silica films was presented by constructing roughness through sol-gel, chemical modification, phase separation and self-assemble methods, and grafting low surface energy materials through co-mixing, in-situ-polymerization and in-situ-generation, and the devel-opment of super-hydrophobic films was also pointed .
