N-乙酰基转移酶ARD1(arrest defective-1)在蛋白翻译后将乙酰CoA中的乙酰基转移至N端的α氨基或赖氨酸残基的ε氨基。人和小鼠具有ARD1不同的变体,它们具有高度保守的N-乙酰基转移酶区域。ARD1分布于多种组织,定位于胞浆或细胞核内。现已发现ARD1基因与某些肿瘤的发生关系密切,是治疗肿瘤的一个潜在靶标。我们简要探讨了N-乙酰基转移酶ARD1基因的功能及其与肿瘤的关系。

N-acetyltransferase arrest defective-1(ARS1) is responsible for the post-transcriptional removal of ace-tyl group in the acetyl coenzyme A to α-amide or ε-amide of the lysine in the N-terminal. There are different variants in human and mouse, which shared a well-conserved N-acetyltransferase domain. ARD1 is distributed among multifarious tissues, located in cytoplasm or nucleolus. It has been found that ARD1 has an intimate rela-tionship with the occurrence of some tumours and can act as a potential target for curing tumour. In this paper we discussed the function of ARD1 and its relationship with tumour.
