Leakage calculation was a difficult point in Engineering design under heat exchanging tube broken in tube and Shell heat exchanger .Tak-ing practical project as an example, leakage was calculated in allusion to high pressure side and low pressure side under different conditions in case of heat exchanging tube broken, and a comparison was made with foreign relative calculation data;it was summarized that the formula for leakage calculation was to be adopted for different conditions and the relative matters were to be noticed in engineering design .
