随着旅游经济的快速发展，旅游行业需要大量有实践技能的一线员工，而传统的教学往往理论与实践相脱节，造成所培养的人才缺乏操作技能，缺乏思考问题、分析问题、解决的综合能力，缺乏应变能力和适应能力。项目教学法意义在于理论与实际相结合，培养学生全方位的综合素质和才能，发掘学生的创新能力。文章重点通过项目教学法的含义和特点、教师教学能力的要求以及教师的角色等三方面解析项目教学法中教师的角色。

With the rapid development of tourism economy, the tourism industry needs a large number of practical skills of front-line staff, while the traditional teaching is often the gap between theory and practice, caused by lack of skills training of personnel, lack of thinking, comprehensive ability, solve problems, lack of resilience and adaptability. The project teaching method is the combination of theory and practice, comprehensive quality and cultivate the students' all-round, explore the innovation ability of students. This paper analyzes the teacher’s role in tourism geography curriculum project teaching method from the definition and characteristics of teachers, the project teaching method of teachers' teaching ability and teacher's role in three aspects.
