大规模高性能计算集群运行过程中产生的“局部高热”问题会降低集群运行效率,集群制冷模式的配置因而成为现今高性能计算机房环境保障技术研究的一个主要方向。根据设备处在高寒地区的特点,通过对比试验分析,确认部署在集群机柜旁边的水平送风排机柜能够满足设备高性能集群制冷需求。为进一步提升制冷效果,采用定制密封组件将水平送风制冷排机柜与计算机集群组合成一个局部密闭制冷环境,形成以空气作为热交换媒介的密闭式集成制冷单元。采用这种方式使得制冷对象从机房环境转换为集群本身,从而有效提升了制冷效率和效果。通过应用密闭集成制冷单元技术使机房PUE从2.3降低到1.54,机房无效能耗明显降低。

The“local hyperthermia”problem of large scale high performance computing cluster will reduce the cluster operation efficiency. The study of cluster refrigeration mode has become a main research direction of high performance computer room environment technology. Based on the comparative tests and analyses the horizontal air refrigeration row cabinet deployed next to the cluster cabinet is considered to be an appropriate mode to satisfy the high performance cluster refrigeration need according to the characteristics of alpine region. To further enhance the cooling effect, using custom seal assembly combine air refrigeration row cabinet and cluster cabinet into a closed integrated refrigeration unit to improve heat exchange efficiency. In such a manner the refrigeration objects are narrowed from the computer room to the cluster itself, thus improve the refrigeration efficiency and effectiveness. The application of closed integrated refrigeration unit technology reduced computer room PUE figure from 2.3 to 1.54 and significantly reduce computer room invalid energy consumption.
