电子商务产业快速发展的趋势不可逆转，电子商务已成为提升城市竞争力的重要产业基础，然而厦门电子商务产业在电子商务平台、产业集聚、物流、人才等方面仍然存在不足，电子商务城市影响力有待提升。因此，厦门应把握电子商务产业链发展与国际化趋势、技术进步与商业变革、线上与线下融合、互联网与金融跨界等方面的机遇，重点在电子商务基础环境、平台经济和新型业态等方面加快创新发展，将厦门建设成为海峡西岸电子商务中心城市。

Electronic commerce has become a fundamental industry to raise the competitiveness of a city. But this industry of Xiamen needs to improve with respect to e-commerce platform,industrial agglomeration,logistics and talents attraction, as well as its influence. Xiamen should grasp the good opportunities occurring in electronic commercial industry:the development and globalization of e-commerce chain, technological and business innovation, the online and offline integration and expansion, the cross-sector operation between internet and finance. Xiamen should particularly foster the innovative development in the fundamental e-commerce environment,platform economy and new business format,to grow into the center of e-commerce in the Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Strait.
