建构主义理论认为，学生作为认知主体通过不断建构知识，在锻炼语言技能和多角度思维能力的同时，能够逐步提高分析和解决问题的能力，并最终增强创新能力。建构主义理论对我国创新型英语人才的培养起着积极的指导作用，有助于切实转变当前妨碍学生创新精神和创新能力发展的教育观念和教育模式。
