新疆具有特殊的地域特征，民族成分多，宗教信仰复杂，“7.5事件”发生以后，经调查，有部分大学生参与，在近几年的研究中同时也发现，敌对分子逐渐把部分注意力转移到高校学生当中，在学生中培养骨干，试图在学生群体中产生辐射影响，影响新疆地区的稳定和发展。在近几年与学生的交流过程中也发现，在校大学生的民族意识的相关认知水平不高，本科院校学生和高职院校学生学习背景、认知水平也存在差异，因此，研究特定群体即高职院校大学生的民族意识情况，做合理引导非常必要。

Also found in the process of communication with the students in recent years, students of the national consciousness of the cognitive level is not high, undergraduate college students and vocational college students' learning background, cognitive level is different, therefore, to study specific group of national consciousness among college students in higher vocational colleges, make the reasonable guidance is very necessary.
