温室气体排放已经成为人类面临的最大环境问题,反刍家畜在反刍过程中会产生数量可观的甲烷(Methane,CH4),并通过打嗝和胃胀气排放到大气中。甲烷菌的活性与反刍家畜的日粮组成有关,许多草原植物就是甲烷菌的天然抑制剂。通过对反刍家畜CH4排放量、生产机制及减少CH4排放途径的概述,以求提供调控反刍家畜CH4排放的新思路。

Greenhouse gas emissions has become the biggest humanity facing environmental problems,ruminants will generate a considerable amount of methane in the ruminating process,and emit into the atmosphere through the hiccups and bloating. Methanogens activity has something to do with the ruminant livestock diet composition,and many prairie plants is a natural inhibitor of methanogens. The methane emissions of ruminant livestock,the production mechanisms and the pathway of reducing methane emissions were reviewed,in order to provide new ideas for the control of ruminant livestock methane emissions.
