Mathematical modeling and performance simulation of the rotary speed closed-loop control system of a DC motor were described. From engineering angle, an approximate model of the control system was established by model simplification. The obtained model is simple and fast due to the simple constitution of the closed-loop control system and the ease modeling method, which is suitable for engineering requirements. Comparison of the approximate model and accurate model analysis was conducted by simulation. The results show that the approximate model error is small and the DC motor control system has good dynamic per-formance.
