长白山是国家首批5A级景区，近年来吉林省政府为发展长白山旅游作出了极大的努力，一个在国内外颇具影响力的景区已初见端倪，但其游客人数和旅游总收入与国内著名的5A级名山景区仍有较大的差距。主要问题集中在区位偏远、适游时间较短、旅游资源开发层次较浅、服务设施不健全、景区范围有限、高等级旅游产品较少、旅游项目较为单一和旅游资源的文化挖掘不够等方面。在分析差距成因的基础上，论证了扩大长白山旅游景区的必要性和把长白山打造成国内外知名旅游景区的有利条件，提出了要加强与邻省和邻国的合作力度，努力发展长线旅游、多形式旅游、冰雪旅游、发掘景点的内在潜力和观赏深度等开发措施。

Changbai Mountain is the first batch of national 5A tourist area .Recent years ,Jilin prov-ince has made a great endeavor to develop Changbai Mountain tourism and a famous scenic spot has been formed ,but still there is a big gap on the tourist population and gross income to the other fa-mous 5A class mountain scenic spot .The main issues focused on the remote location ,the appropriate travel time is short ,tourism resources development level is relatively shallow ,service facilities is not perfect ,the scenic range is limited ,the high-grade tourism products are less ,tourism projects are relatively undiversified and the mining of tourism resources cultural is not enough etc .On the basis of analyzing the causes of gap ,the necessity of enlarging Changbai Mountain Tourism and the related advantage conditions were demonstrated .The author proposed the suggestions on developing long-line tourism ,multi-style tourism ,ice and snow tourism ,excavation of inner potential and enjoy deep ,based on the cooperation with the neighbor provinces and countries .
