翻译的“文化转向”为翻译研究带来新的研究视角，突出了译者主体性的重要性。但是译者主体性的不恰当发挥给翻译带来不利影响。翻译伦理体现在翻译个人伦理和翻译职业伦理两个层面上，其核心之一是“忠实”，翻译伦理的作用体现在对译者主体性的制约上，只有坚持翻译伦理对译者主体性的制约关系，译者主体性才能得到正常发挥。

The “cultural turn” of translation brings new research perspectives for transla-tion studies and highlights the importance of translators ’ subjectivity in translation .But the o-ver-emphasis of translators ’ subjectivity has brought negative effect on translation .The transla-tion ethics manifests itself in the form of translation professional ethics and translation personal ethics with“fidelity” as one of its core concepts ,and its role is the restriction of the translators ’ subjectivity ,the translators ’ subjectivity can function properly if the translation ethics plays its restriction role appropriately .
