This article discusses the application of a new magnetoresistive sensor for measuring the earth-magnetic field.In particular,we determine the direction of geomagnetic meridian plane and meas-ure magnetic declination by using a new method which has the advantages of simple operation and high precision.In the experiment,students can easily master the key points of operation and experimental teaching has very good results.
