In the paper, it analyzes the motion process of the traversing mechanism for the walking beam type cooling bed and calculates the size of the lever of traversing mechanism as well as determine the location of Max. Torque and the power value of the mechanism with the multiple position calculation method based on the analysis;this paper also analyzes the rigidity and strength of the traversing mechanism with ANSYS FEA software.
