According to the problem of opportunity choosing of shipboard helicopter patrolling guarding on off-ly-ing sea escort, on the base of analyzing the factor of influencing the opportunity of shipboard helicopter patrol-ing and guarding, evaluatting the ability of shipboard helicopter accompanying escort, integratting the practice of our surface ship off-lying sea escort, the opportunity of shipboard helicopter patrolling guarding on accompany-ing escort was studied.
