针对突厥汗国的军事进攻，隋朝采用长孙晟的合弱离强，远交近攻等策略，促使突厥汗国内部分裂，实力削弱，将隋突关系带到了和平时期。在两国关系缓和之际，他多次出使东突厥汗国，凭借过人的智谋，消除了两国关系中的不稳定因素，确保两国邦交的正常化。实践证明他的外交策略为隋突关系和平发展做出了巨大贡献。
針對突厥汗國的軍事進攻，隋朝採用長孫晟的閤弱離彊，遠交近攻等策略，促使突厥汗國內部分裂，實力削弱，將隋突關繫帶到瞭和平時期。在兩國關繫緩和之際，他多次齣使東突厥汗國，憑藉過人的智謀，消除瞭兩國關繫中的不穩定因素，確保兩國邦交的正常化。實踐證明他的外交策略為隋突關繫和平髮展做齣瞭巨大貢獻。

Facing the military attacks from Turkic khanates, Sui dynasty, by uniting the weak and alienating the strong, befriending the far and attacking the near based on Zhang-sun Sheng’s tactics, successfully split Turkic khanates, weakened Turk strength and finally brought peace to the relation between Sui dynasty and Turkic khanates. During this peace-ful period, Zhangsun Sheng visited eastern Turkic khanates more than once to normalize the relations by removing the instable factors with his resourcefulness. Practice proves that his diplomatic strategies are significant for the peaceful development of the relation be-tween Sui Dynasty and Turkic khanates.
