民间收藏的广汉三星堆出土的阴阳鱼太极图及天象图组合的玉器，是中国首次发现的实物。这一发现将彻底改写阴阳鱼太极图的发现历史，同时也表明历史上关于阴阳鱼太极图的传说大多是历史学家杜撰出来的。因为“太极-八卦-周易”是有机联系在一起的，而且都在四川发现，故而可以肯定“易在蜀”。阴阳鱼太极图与天象图的组合实物的发现其意义非凡，值得考古学家、历史学家、天文学家和易学专家深入研究，共同来揭示其深远的远古文化内涵。
