四部分类法作为目录学家编制目录、类分群书的依据，居于图书分类领域中的正统地位，四部分类法究竟经历了怎样的发展演变，值得进一步的探究。《中经》和《中经新簿》作为较早的目录学著作，对后世产生了很大的影响，更重要的是两本书经历过传承之后，建立了四部分类法的雏形。通过史料进行分析，四部分类法起源于后来的《中经新簿》，而《中经》作为《中经新簿》分类的参考和主要组成部分，有着举足轻重的作用。

The four-part categorization ,as the main basis for bibliographers to classify con-tents and decompose group books ,takes a vital position in the field of book classification .The way it develops is worth researching .Since they are the earliest works on bibliography they have a great influence on later studies .Actually ,they are the prototype of four-part categorization .The analysis on historical records reveals that the four-part categorization is from “New Version of Zhongjing” while “Zhongjing” is the main reference and composition .
