This article studies the present situation and characteristics of Chinese private enterprise cross-border mergers and acquisitions and analyzes the risks in the mergers and acquisitions and the reasons of enterprise cross-border mergers and acquisitions risk. Finally, the prevention measures for Chinese enterprises cross-border mergers and acquisitions are proposed in order to promote Chinese private enterprises' foreign investment.
