Sulfitation intensity is a key factor in affecting clarification process in sugar factory and the quality of sugar. In this paper, a new method based on low concentration of iodine and starch color correlation was proposed for automatic detection of sulfitation intensity, and for the real-time online testing and feedback regulation purposes.
