中等职业教育是我国高中阶段教育的重要组成部分，它担负着培养数以亿计高素质劳动者的重要任务，是我国经济社会发展的重要基础。近几年来，国家号召增强对中等职业教育的关注，加大其教育经费的投入，为推动职业教育的发展作出了重要贡献。但是，与加快现代职业教育的发展需求相比，我国的职业教育事业还存在经费投入总量不足、生均经费过低、投入比例不均衡、经费来源结构不科学等问题。
