采用统计资料,对广东省主要水果种植面积和产量发展历史与现状进行了分析,以期为广东省水果产业健康快速发展提供理论依据。结果表明:1949-1984年间,广东省主要水果种植总面积很少,总产量一直很低。从1985年开始,广东省主要水果种植总面积和总产量逐年快速增加,2009年已分别达到108.13万hm2和1061.9万t,广东省柑橘橙、香(大)蕉、菠萝、荔枝和龙眼种植面积和产量均居全国前列。但广东省各地市各类水果种植面积、总产和单产差异很大。广东省各地根据不同树种对气候条件的要求,形成了以柑橘、香蕉、荔枝、龙眼和菠萝等种类为主的一批具有鲜明地方特色的水果优势产区。

Analysis was conducted of the history and current status of main fruit acreage and yield in Guangdong using statistical data in order to supply theoretical basis for the healthy and rapid development of the fruit indus-try in Guangdong. The results showed that the total cultivation area and yield of main fruits in Guangdong had been developed slowly from 1949 to 1984. Since 1985,the total fruit cultivation area and yield in Guangdong in-creased rapidly year by year. The total cultivation area and yield were reached 1.08 million hm2 and 10.61 mil-lion tons,respectively in 2009. The acreage and yield of orange,banana,pineapple,lychee and longan in Guang-dong were most important in the whole country. But there were significantly different in total area and yield of all kinds of fruit in different region of Guangdong. It had already formed several favorable areas in Guangdong with distinctive local characteristics of the tropical fruits such as citrus,banana,lychee,longan and pineapple,ac-cording to the different requirements of tree species for local climate conditions.
