以丁二酸和丁二醇为原料,采用熔融缩聚法合成聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS),并对 PBS 的合成工艺进行研究.实验结果表明,当醇酸物质的量比为1.10,选择氯化亚锡(SnCl2)和对甲苯磺酸为催化剂,酯化温度在170,℃,缩聚温度在230,℃时,产物的特性黏度较高,副反应较少.通过红外光谱(FTIR)分析,产物为预期的 PBS.运用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)及力学性能分析可得,随着聚酯特性黏度的增大,其熔融焓、结晶温度和结晶度都下降,拉伸强度和断裂伸长率都增大.

Poly(butylene succinate)(PBS)was synthesized by melting polycondensation from succinic acid with 1,4-butanediol. The research on the synthesis technology shows the optimal reaction conditions are:the molar ratio of SA to BD is 1∶1.10,the esterification temperature maintains around 170,℃,and the polycondensation temperature maintains around 230,℃ with stannous chloride(SnCl2)and p-toluenesulfonate as catalysts. Under this condition,the product can get higher intrinsic viscosity with fewer side reactions. The IR spectra indicates the products are the expected polymers. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and mechanical property analysis show that with the increase of intrinsic viscosity of PBS,the crystallization temperature(Tc),melting enthalpy(ΔHm)and crystallinity degree(Xc)are decreased,while the tensile strength and elongation at break are increased.
