水稻根系是植株吸收水分和营养物质的主要器官,并影响地上部生长发育和产量形成,但由于根系生长在土壤里限制了研究的方法和手段,使水稻根系性状的研究较地上部相对滞后。近年来,对水稻根系突变体的基因克隆和功能研究取得了较大进展,对此进行综述,并期待有更多的根系基因得到克隆,为根系生长发育机理研究提供线索,也为根系育种提供基因资源。
水稻根繫是植株吸收水分和營養物質的主要器官,併影響地上部生長髮育和產量形成,但由于根繫生長在土壤裏限製瞭研究的方法和手段,使水稻根繫性狀的研究較地上部相對滯後。近年來,對水稻根繫突變體的基因剋隆和功能研究取得瞭較大進展,對此進行綜述,併期待有更多的根繫基因得到剋隆,為根繫生長髮育機理研究提供線索,也為根繫育種提供基因資源。

Rice root system is the primary organ for absorption of water and nutrients, which further affects the development of the ground-surface tissue and grain yield. Compared with the research on the ground-surface tissue, the study of root characterization and development is relatively inadequate because of the limited research methods and resources. Recently, there are significant research progresses in the cloning and functional study of root-related genes in rice. In this report, we summarize these achievements over the last several years and expect more root-related genes cloned, with which more clues can be provided for the future study of root system development and genetic materials for breeding.
