Recycle the waste heat of circulating water in heating power to heat water by using type I absorption heat pump. In this paper, it introduces the original design parameters, the system scheme and the selection of units. In addition, it introduces the energy efficiency, environmental benefits and the question of the project. Through the presentation of the use of heat pump technology for recovery of waste heat from power plant, the technology is feasible, reliable, and is worthy of popularizing in northern heating power plant.
