采用稀土Nd对3种不同Si含量Al-(18、22、26)Si的过共晶铝硅合金进行变质处理,研究Nd对合金的铸态组织以及摩擦磨损性能的影响。结果表明:随着硅含量的提高,组织中初晶硅含量变多,尺寸增大;加入0.5%的Nd使组织中的初晶硅得到明显细化,合金组织中较大的板状和多面体状的初晶硅变为细小的多面体状,而且其尖锐的棱角变得圆滑;随着硅含量的增加,合金的耐磨性得到提高,合金的磨损率分别由变质前的1.4573、1.1181、0.9662 m3/(N·m)下降为1.284、0.853、0.785 m3/(N·m)。

Hypereutectic Al-(18,22,26)Si alloys were prepared by modification treatment of adding Nd,and the influence of Nd on cast microstructure and wear properties of Al-(18,22,26)Si was studied. The results show that the amount and size of primary silicon become large with the increase of silicon content;when Nd content of Al-(18,22,26)Si is 0.5%,primary silicon is obviously refined and transformed from larger plate and polyhedron into small polyhedron,the sharp edge becomes more smooth. Meanwhile,the wear resistance of the alloy is improved with the addition of silicon,the wear rate of alloy decreases to 1.284,0.853,0.785 m3/(N·m),compared with 1.457 3,1.118 1,0.966 2 m3/(N·m)before modification.
