随着移动网络的不断发展，网络规模的不断扩大，通信系统的安全和网络容量面临着巨大挑战。如何提高网络资源的利用率和容灾能力，是各厂商共同关注的问题。MSC Pool技术的应用，打破了传统网络中一个BSC/RNC只能连接到一个MSC的限制，将多个MSC共同组成一个资源池，为所连接的BSC/RNC提供服务。MSC Pool能提升核心网络系统的资源利用率，降低信令开销，提升了系统效率。本文在3GPP标准协议的基础上，从MSC Pool的技术原理入手，结合MSC Pool的发展现状，对MSC Pool的关键技术和组网原则进行了分析研究。
