通过实验对市场上常见的活性炭进行探索性研究，发现碘吸附值高、水含量高、pH值处于中性或者碱性的活性炭有利于脱硫过程。通过碱改性和金属氧化物改性，制得的活性炭催化剂脱硫率可达到90%以上，金属氧化物改性的催化剂脱硝率能达到80%以上，是具有一定脱硫脱硝能力的双功能催化剂。

This paper by meanings of exploratory studying on common activated carbon in market, finds out that those high iodine adsorption value, high water content, pH neutral or alkaline activated carbon in favor of desulfurization process. After modifying by alkali and metal oxide, it achieves activated carbon catalyst desulfurization rate can reach 90%, the modified metal oxide catalyst denitration rate can reach 80%, shows it is a bifunctional catalyst having the capability of desulfurization and denitrification.
