从杭州地区有纹枯病症状的水稻植株上采集分离到一株编号为HZ11的病原真菌菌丝形态与水稻纹枯病菌(Rhizoctonia solani)相似,但其菌核形态与丝核菌属真菌有明显差异。由此对该菌株进行了形态学、18S rDNA和ITS序列分析的鉴定。ITS序列分析表明该菌株与嗜水小核菌(Sclerotium hy-drophilure Sacc)有99%的同源性,18S rDNA序列则与许多丝核菌属(Rhizoctonia)序列最大同源性达99%。根据综合分析,推断菌株HZ11为嗜水小核菌(S. hydrophilure),并建议将嗜水小核菌归属于丝核菌属。这是第一次报道侵染水稻的嗜水小核菌并向NCBI提供了第一条该菌的18S rDNA序列。

A fungal strain, named HZ11, was isolated from naturally diseased rice with sheath blight in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, and its mycelia has similar morphologica characters as Rhizoctonia solani. Sclerotium morphology as well as 18S rDNA and ITS identification were tested. Sequence analysis of ITS showed that HZ11 was similar to Sclerotium hydrophilure Sacc with 99%identity, and its 18S rDNA showed high sequence homology with fungi strains in genera Rhizoctonia, with identity of 99%. Based on the comprehensive analysis, we finally identified that the isolate ZH11 belongs to S. hydrophilum, and we proposed to place S. hydrophilum into Rhizoctonia genera. This is the first report of S. hydrophilum infecting rice with symptom of sheath blight in Hangzhou , Zhejiang province, and we provide the first 18S rDNA sequence of S. hydrophilum to NCBI at same time.
