化工装置布置和发展的趋势归结为“四个化”即:露天化,流程化,集中化和模块化。模块化设计在工厂设计中无处不在,如泵、汽轮机、压缩机及其辅助设备的布置及配管;又如加热炉的燃料油,燃气管道系统,装置的软管站管道一般都采用模块化布置,甚至整个装置都采用模块化设计,用于不同地区,仅做局部修改即可重复利用。当项目所在地比较偏远,或项目所在地资源短缺,技术力量薄弱的情况下,模块化设计的优越性愈加明显。

The trends in development of layout in chemical plant can be summarized as four aspects, that is, in open air, in flowing procedure, in centralization and in modularization. In plant design modularization may be used in almost every place, such as designs for pump, turbine, compressor and accessories and their arrangement. Additionally, modularization arrangement will often be used in the layout of pipeline for fuel oil used in heater, gas system and soft pipe station. Furthermore, modularization method can be used in the design of whole plant which can adapt to different regions when only being modiifed in local parts. When the plant localized in a far place or there is lack of technical supports at the location where the plant constructed, modularization design method has more prominent advantages.
