隐喻不仅是一种语用现象，也是一种认知现象。而关联翻译理论，作为一个具有巨大影响力的认知语用学理论，其强大的解释力为隐喻翻译提供了新的视角。作者认为，对隐喻的正确理解和翻译，实际上也就是依据关联翻译理论的明-示推理模式，找出不同文化中两个事物之间的相似性，寻求最佳关联的过程。本文根据关联翻译理论的直接翻译和间接翻译，提出来对等译法，归化译法，同化译法和灵活译法四种隐喻翻译策略。

Metaphor is not only a kind of linguistic phenomenon, but also a kind of cognitive phenomenon. Whereas, relevance translation theory, as an influential theory in cognitive pragmatics, has great interpretative power and provides a new angle for metaphor translation. The author thinks the correct understanding and translation of metaphor is the process of finding out the similarities between two things in dif erent cultures and seeking the optimal relevance in accordance with ostensive-inferential model of relevance translation theory. Based on the direct translation and indirect translation of relevance translation theory, the author proposes four kinds of translation strategies as fol ows:equivalent translation, domestication translation, assimilation translation and flexible translation.
