Er3+∶Yb3+共掺磷酸盐玻璃激光器能发射1.54μm附近的激光,这种激光器广泛应用于光通信、激光雷达和人眼安全激光测距等方面。文章以输出波长为975 nm的半导体激光器为泵浦源,采用 Er3+∶Yb3+共掺磷酸盐玻璃为工作物质,成功地实现了平平腔、平凹腔常温下连续输出TEM00模的1.54μm 激光。实验结果表明:随着谐振腔腔长的增加,输出激光能量减小,而阈值功率增大。最后采用弯月型输出镜改善光束质量,获得了最大功率为30 mW的1.54μm信号光输出。

Emitting laser light at around 1.54μm,the solid-state Er3+∶Yb3+ codoped phosphate glass laser is widely applied in optical communications,radar and eye-safe laser range finding.In this paper,the flat-flat cavity-and flat-concave cavity-sys-tems lasing at TEM00 1.54μm wavelength are realized by using output wavelength of 975 nm for the LD pump sources and u-sing Er3+,Yb3+ codoped phosphate glass.Experimental results indicate that with the increase of the resonant cavity length, the system output energy decreases,while the pump threshold power increases.In addition,the quality of the laser beam is improved by using a curve-type mirror,obtaining the output of signal light with the maximum power of 30 mW.
